amount_typical

amount_typical holds a typical or average award size. It is captioned Typical award on a record.

It is populated only where the source publishes such a figure. We never compute one: an average derived from a pool and an award count, or from other programmes, would be our arithmetic presented among the funder's numbers, and a reader has no way to tell the two apart once they are in the same column.
