giving_count
How many grants the total was computed from.
giving_count is the number of grants behind
giving_total and
giving_median.
It is shown because a median over four grants and a median over four hundred are not the same claim, and a figure without its basis invites the reader to assume the second. It is also the fastest way to spot an operating foundation: large assets, small giving count.
Shown as: the count beside the giving figures, in mono with tabular figures. When absent: the derived figures do not render.
