expenses_total
Total expenses for the stated fiscal year, from the filing.
expenses_total is the funder's total expenses in
fiscal_year.
It includes grants paid, so it is always larger than giving_total and the gap is the cost of running the organisation. On an operating foundation that gap is most of the number, which is the point of showing both.
