Award size checker
The award size checker compares a budget you enter against the per-award ceilings we hold for a slice of the catalogue.
What makes it different from a chart is that it prints its basis. It shows how many records in that selection published a ceiling, and separately how many published a pool, because those are different questions. Below ten stated ceilings it shows the count and declines to draw a distribution at all — a distribution over four records is a picture of four records with the authority of a chart.
Deadline planner
The deadline planner works backwards from a deadline to the date each step has to be done.
It plans the steps you control. It cannot know your board's meeting schedule or how long your registration will take, so it asks rather than assuming, and it does not pretend that a four-week deadline is achievable for an organisation that has not registered.
What neither does
Neither writes anything, and neither scores anything. They are arithmetic with their working shown.
