Using the product
Alerts, saved searches, exports, the tracker, workspaces, billing, and the rules behind how records are shown.
How each part of the product works, and — more often than is comfortable — what each part deliberately does not do.
Working with the catalogue
Saved searches store a query rather than a result set. Alerts watch one and report what changed. Exports carry their provenance columns so the file is checkable away from this site. The tracker is private, and stays private. Workspaces share it with a team.
Reading a record correctly
Reading provenance and Not stated is the one to start with: three different things an empty field can mean, and how to tell which you are looking at. How amounts are shown covers the four money columns and the rule about ranges. The nine applicant classes explains how source eligibility values are folded, and what happens to values that do not fit.
Freshness
How often data is updated explains why there is no single answer to that question, and where the per-feed and per-record figures are published instead.
