Cost share calculator
Turn a match requirement into the dollar figure you actually have to find.
A 25% match and a 1:4 match are different arithmetic against the same project, and a notice will use either wording. This asks which one you are reading rather than guessing.
Enter a project cost and a rate to see the split.
How to use it
- Enter the project cost. The total cost of the work, not the amount you are requesting.
- State the requirement as the notice does. A percentage of total project cost, or a ratio of applicant dollars to award dollars. The two give different answers and the tool shows which it used.
- Split cash from in-kind. If the notice caps how much of the match may be in-kind, enter that share to see the cash you still have to raise.
Computes only from what you enter. Nothing is sent to us and nothing is stored.
