Award size benchmark

The spread of stated award ceilings in a slice, with the sample size next to it.

These are statistics about what a set of notices has stated, not a prediction of what any programme will award. A slice with fewer than ten stated ceilings shows no figures at all.

How to use it

  1. Choose a slice. An applicant type, a state, an industry, or a combination the catalogue holds records for.
  2. Check the sample size. The n beside the figures is how many records stated a ceiling. Below ten the tool prints no quartiles, because three records do not have a middle.
  3. Read it as a description. The figures describe published ceilings in this catalogue on the day you read them. They are not a forecast and they are not advice about what to request.
