The date is when we saw it, not always when it happened

A record's added date is exact: it is the moment a sweep first read the record at its source. A closed date is when the row was last written, which for a closed record is the sweep that closed it unless a repair pass has touched it since.

A rescheduled, repriced or retitled date is when the nightly sweep observed the change. A funder can move a deadline on a Monday and be seen on the Thursday; no source publishes the first date, so this page shows the second and says which it is rather than implying they are the same.

Both values are shown for every field change. The figure the record used to carry is the part a change log exists to preserve.
