Matching one profile
Running a stored organisation profile against the catalogue, and filing what you pick against that profile in one press.
Open Organisation profiles and press Match this profile on any live profile. The page runs that profile against the catalogue and lists every record whose stored clauses agree with it.
What it is running
The profile's entity type, first state and first industry, turned into the same answers the free matching wizard asks for, and run through the same matcher. The same profile and the same answers typed into the wizard return the same records in the same order — a page that ranked differently would be a second opinion about eligibility, and we hold one.
The answers actually used are printed under the heading, so you can see which of several states or industries the run was based on. The rest are ignored rather than folded together: a profile that needs two states needs two runs, because OR-ing them would report a match no stored clause supports.
Under each result are the clauses that agreed, one chip each, with a miss shown as a miss and a clause we have not linked shown as neither. There is no score. See The matching wizard for why.
A profile that states no entity type, state or industry cannot be matched, and the page says so rather than returning the whole catalogue.
Filing what you pick
Tick the records worth pursuing and press Add N to the tracker. All of them are filed against this profile at the Interested stage, and the board's client switcher will show them under this client from then on.
Up to fifty at a time. Beyond that the remaining checkboxes stop responding and the page says why.
Adding is safe to repeat. A record already on your tracker shows its checkbox ticked and disabled, and pressing Add twice on the same selection moves those rows rather than creating a second copy of each. What is reported afterwards is how many rows were created — six selected over two already tracked reports four, because reporting six would be a number you could not reconcile against the board.
If your role on the profile is Viewer the list still reads and the button is not offered. Viewers read a client's pipeline and do not change it.
Every profile at once
Match every profile runs all of them and shows the top few each — the right shape for a Monday morning. This page is the right shape for working one client: every match, and the ability to act on them.
